Claude 6f8a703004 Fix Homebox OIDC invalid_scope error by allowing per-client extra scopes
_authelia_provision_oidc_client() hardcoded openid/profile/email as the
only scopes a registered client could ever request, but Homebox's own
Authelia integration needs 'groups' too — requesting it without it being
in the client's own scopes allowlist made Authelia reject every login
with invalid_scope, even though the server supports 'groups' generally.

Add an EXTRA_SCOPES positional arg (space-separated, right after
REQUIRE_PKCE) that only Homebox's caller populates ("groups"); every
other existing caller passes "" and gets a byte-for-byte unchanged
client registration.

Claude bec9228c55 Back up existing files before every service overwrites them
Confirmed live: install_frigate()'s fresh-install path overwrote a
working, hand-crafted docker-compose.yml (Frigate + mosquitto +
frigate-notify) with zero backup, because that file's shape didn't match
what frigate.sh's own "existing install" detection knew how to recognize.
Every service's own detection is a judgment call about what counts as
"already installed" and can miss a real setup built outside this repo's
conventions.

lib/common.sh gains backup_if_exists(FILE) — copies FILE to
FILE.bak.<timestamp> if it exists, no-ops otherwise (including DRY_RUN).
Applied before every service's own `cat > docker-compose.yml`/`cat > .env`
write across all 60 services that do one (115 call sites), plus a matching
standalone-mode stub added to every service's own bootstrap block, same
convention already used for port_in_use/find_free_port. This doesn't
replace a service's own update/fresh-reinstall detection — it's the safety
net underneath it, so a wrong detection costs a .bak file to restore from
instead of the original silently disappearing.

Also fixes the actual gap that surfaced this: services/frigate.sh's
Authelia offer only checked for Authelia installed locally on Frigate's
own box, which is never true for a dedicated NVR box with no local Caddy
either (the common shape — Caddy lives elsewhere, snippet-generation mode
already handles that). Now offers Authelia protection unconditionally and,
when Authelia isn't local, asks whether it lives on the same machine as
Caddy (still "import authelia", since that's local to wherever Caddy ends
up) or on a genuinely separate third machine (the explicit
header-pinned forward_auth form, per CLAUDE.md's "forward_auth to a remote
Authelia" note, needed because a bare authelia:9091 shortcut only works
one hop).

Claude 7209a32d43 Split "disable local login" from the initial SSO setup step
Confirmed live: offering DISABLE_PASSWORD_AUTH/ALLOW_PASSWORD_LOGIN in the
same breath as printing the Authelia paste-in values lets an admin say yes
before actually pasting those values into the app's own settings and
testing the button — leaving neither login path working (password form
gone, OAuth provider never actually finished on the app's side).

Both are now their own function, only reachable on a later run (Beszel:
independently after the SSO offer; Mealie: from the "already configured,
not reconfiguring" branch), and gated behind an explicit "have you already
logged in successfully via the Authelia button?" confirmation before the
disable prompt is even offered.

Claude 879cb24d3b Wire Authelia SSO into Immich, Audiobookshelf, and Beszel
_authelia_provision_oidc_client gains an optional PKCE flag (new 5th
positional arg; every existing caller updated to pass "n", producing an
identical client block to before) — Audiobookshelf and Beszel's own
Authelia integration docs both require require_pkce/pkce_challenge_method,
which Authelia doesn't turn on by default.

immich.sh: _immich_offer_authelia_oidc() is real server-side automation,
not just paste-in instructions — confirmed the exact system-config "oauth"
JSON field names against Immich's own config-file.md and source (not
guessed, closing out the "needs one more verification pass" note this
repo's own CLAUDE.md already had on file). GET/PUT exchange the whole
config object, so it round-trips everything else unchanged. Needs an
admin API key that doesn't exist until first web-UI visit, so it's wired
into both the fresh-install path and the "update" rerun path.

audiobookshelf.sh, beszel.sh: both apps' OIDC config is UI-only (checked
against audiobookshelf.org and beszel.dev directly — no config API or env
var for the provider fields), so their new offers automate the Authelia
side and print exact paste-in values. Beszel also gets a real, separate
DISABLE_PASSWORD_AUTH/USER_CREATION toggle to fully replace its login,
gated behind a warning to register a working account first.

Also adds Audiobookshelf and Beszel as presets in authelia.sh's own
generic "Register another app" menu, and updates CLAUDE.md's OIDC
verification table to match reality (Immich now wired, Audiobookshelf
was wrongly listed as "high-confidence no", Beszel added).

Claude 8808de0dbb Add group/site summary view; let Mealie fully hand off login to Authelia
authelia.sh: menu option 15 lists every outside-access group with its
site membership (from access_control.rules, excluding each group's own
deny-elsewhere rule) and user membership (from users.yml) in one place —
previously only visible by grepping both files by hand.

mealie.sh: _mealie_offer_authelia_oidc now offers to set
ALLOW_PASSWORD_LOGIN=false (hides Mealie's own login form) and
OIDC_AUTO_REDIRECT=true (skip the login page, go straight to Authelia),
both confirmed against docs.mealie.io rather than assumed. Off by
default since it's a real access-control change, not just an additive
SSO button — anyone without an Authelia account loses their login path.

Claude ebe8ea3245 mealie: reconcile BASE_URL with the domain actually chosen at the Caddy prompt
Confirmed live: install_mealie() pre-computes BASE_URL as
recipes<suffix>.$SITE_DOMAIN before ever asking about Caddy, then
configure_caddy_for_service() separately prompts for a domain — which the
user can freely override (e.g. typing mealie.mydomain.com instead of
accepting the recipes.mydomain.com default). Nothing fed that choice back
into BASE_URL, so it stayed stale. Since BASE_URL is exactly what
_mealie_offer_authelia_oidc() registers as the OIDC redirect URI, this
produced Authelia's "redirect_uri does not match any of the OAuth 2.0
Client's pre-registered redirect_uris" — Caddy and DNS were both correctly
pointed at the new domain, but the client Authelia had on file still said
the old one.

Added CADDY_SERVICE_DOMAIN as a new configure_caddy_for_service() out-param
(lib/common.sh) — the same out-param convention as the existing
CADDY_SERVICE_CONFIGURED/CADDY_SERVICE_MODE, set right after the domain
prompt is accepted. install_mealie() now reconciles BASE_URL against it
immediately after the Caddy call, before the Authelia OIDC step reads
BASE_URL back out of .env. ActualBudget's equivalent OIDC offer asks for
its own domain fresh each time rather than reading a pre-computed BASE_URL,
so it isn't affected by this class of bug and needs no equivalent fix.

Verified the reconciliation logic in isolation against a synthetic .env.

Claude fc3b85f970 authelia: stop hardcoding "auth." as the portal subdomain for OIDC discovery
_authelia_provision_oidc_client() gained a new out-param,
OIDC_AUTHELIA_PORTAL_URL, read back from the instance's own
configuration.yml (session.cookies[].authelia_url) — the actual source of
truth for where the portal lives — instead of every caller separately
assuming "https://auth.$domain".

install_authelia() and add_authelia_domain() both still default new
instances to "auth." as before (unchanged), but that's just a default, not
a guarantee: it's plain text in configuration.yml and gets hand-edited on
some boxes (e.g. a dedicated instance renamed to "authelia." to avoid
colliding with another instance's "auth." on a different machine). Mealie,
ActualBudget, and Gitea's native-OIDC wiring all independently hardcoded
"auth." when building their discovery URL, so a renamed portal silently
produced a discovery URL pointing at a host that doesn't serve Authelia —
surfacing as an opaque 500 during the OIDC token exchange with no useful
client-side error.

Verified the new awk parse against both a default ("auth.") and a renamed
("authelia.") cookies block before trusting it.

Claude accfd7a5bb authelia/mealie/actualbudget/gitea: no more silent no-op reruns
Confirmed live: re-running ActualBudget's Update path produced zero
output for the Authelia SSO step — no prompt, no message, straight back
to the shell. Root cause: the idempotency guards in
_actualbudget_offer_authelia_oidc / _mealie_offer_authelia_oidc /
_gitea_offer_actions_runner were plain `grep -q ... && return 0` — silent
by construction. Indistinguishable from the step not running at all,
which is exactly what it looked like.

ActualBudget and Mealie's OIDC offers now explain what they found and
ask whether to reconfigure (registers a fresh Authelia client + secret,
clearing the old env vars first) instead of silently bailing. Gitea's
Actions-runner offer explains what it found and how to check its status
(reconfiguring that one means editing a docker-compose service block,
not just a couple of env vars, so it just informs rather than offering
to redo it).

Also: _authelia_scope_access now shows existing Authelia usernames as a
numbered list before asking who should have access — picking by number
works alongside typing new names directly (mix freely, e.g. "1 3
newperson"), rather than requiring exact usernames typed from memory
with no reference and no protection against a typo silently creating a
duplicate account.

Claude 3dca8dce1d mealie, actualbudget: add native "Sign in with Authelia" (OIDC)
Researched which of the "has built-in auth" services actually support
native OIDC before wiring anything in (checked live docs, not assumed) —
two services turned out to contradict general assumption: Portainer's
OAuth/OIDC is Business Edition only (this repo installs portainer-ce, which
doesn't have it), and ntfy has no auth-oauth2-* support at all despite it
seeming like the kind of thing a modern self-hosted tool would have added
by now. Full findings recorded in CLAUDE.md so this doesn't need
re-researching.

Two real, verified wins wired up, both entirely env-var driven — no
manual config file editing, matching this repo's "no manual wizard"
philosophy and reusing the exact _authelia_provision_oidc_client /
_authelia_scope_access machinery already built for Gitea:

- mealie: OIDC_AUTH_ENABLED/OIDC_CLIENT_ID/OIDC_CLIENT_SECRET/
OIDC_CONFIGURATION_URL appended to the existing .env (env_file: .env is
already how mealie.sh's compose reads it). Also adds a
  --forwarded-allow-ips entrypoint override when Caddy-fronted — confirmed
against Mealie's own issue tracker that without it, the generated OIDC
redirect URI comes out http:// even when actually served over https://,
which providers reject as a scheme mismatch.
- actualbudget: ACTUAL_OPENID_DISCOVERY_URL/CLIENT_ID/CLIENT_SECRET/
SERVER_HOSTNAME, same pattern. Redirect path (/openid/callback) matches
the preset already used by authelia.sh's own "Register an app" menu for
  this same service.

Both offered on fresh installs and Update reruns, default no, and both
call _authelia_scope_access() afterward so access can be restricted to
specific users instead of every Authelia user, same as Gitea.

Immich has real OIDC + a system-config API but needs one more
verification pass on the exact request payload before automating — not
guessing that part. Jellyfin and Home Assistant only have third-party
plugin/HACS-based OIDC, a bigger lift than an env-var toggle — noted but
not attempted this pass.

Claude 11a4e249b6 Add missing cancel option to 15 more multi-instance services; add setup.sh --status
Same bug as the previous filebrowser/fmd fix: vaultwarden, immich,
audiobookshelf, homebox, rustdesk, emby, meshcentral, traccar, lyrion,
actualbudget, mealie, joplin, jellyfin, unifi, and ntfy all showed "Manage
that install (update / full reinstall / cancel)" when re-run against an
existing install, but choosing "1) Manage" fell straight through into the
same unconditional fresh-install flow every time regardless of choice —
no way to actually cancel or update in place. Wired all 15 up to
prompt_reinstall_mode, matching the reference pattern in
services/mattermost.sh: update pulls + restarts the existing container
without touching config, cancel leaves the install untouched, fresh falls
through to the existing full-install flow unchanged.

Also add `setup.sh --status`: a plain-text listing of every service with
its install state, using the exact same is_installed() calls the whiptail
checklist's [installed] marker uses. Exists so "is X actually installed"
can be answered by reading terminal output directly, without depending on
a whiptail checklist screen where a narrow/resized terminal can truncate
the "[installed]" suffix off-screen with no visible sign that happened.

Claude 9e06ed4b83 Bake cross-service port collision avoidance into every service script
With 70+ services sharing a handful of common default ports (emby and
jellyfin both default to 8096, changedetection and frigate both default
to 5000, arm and nextcloud both default to 8080...), nothing previously
checked whether a service's default port was actually free on the host.
Whichever service installed second would silently write a compose file
claiming an already-held port, only failing at `docker compose up` time.

Adds two shared helpers to lib/common.sh:
- port_in_use PORT [PROTO] — true if something's already listening
- find_free_port VARNAME START [PROTO] — scans upward, writes back the
  first free port

Every service that publishes a fixed host port now scans before writing
docker-compose.yml, on every install (not just when adding an explicit
additional instance). On a normal single-install host this is a silent
no-op; it only changes behavior when something else already holds the
port.

- The 19 services already given multi-instance support this session had
their port scan moved out of the "add instance" branch to run
unconditionally, since the same collision risk exists on a plain first
  install.
- 20 more services with previously-hardcoded ports gained scanning for
the first time: archivebox, arm, calibre-web, changedetection,
  drum-rhythm-game, gatus, n8n, nextcloud, onlyoffice, stirling-pdf,
uptimekuma, portainer, iopaint (both GPU/CPU compose branches), koha
(paired), syncthing (paired), wg-easy (paired, plus WG_PORT env so
generated peer configs keep the right Endpoint), homeassistant
(bridge-mode only — host mode can only warn), frigate and
  frigate-audio (multi-port stacks, moved together).
- caddy.sh is the deliberate exception: 80/443 stay fixed and only warn
on collision, since silently moving Caddy itself would leave nothing
listening where any client actually looks.
- authelia.sh needs no change — it has no published host port at all.
- Every service's standalone bootstrap fallback (sudo bash services/x.sh
with no sibling files) got the same two helpers duplicated into its
stub block, matching how every other shared helper is already handled
  there.

Documents the full pattern in CLAUDE.md's new "Port collision avoidance"
section, including the quoted-heredoc/backtick-escaping gotcha and the
network_mode:host limitation (can only scan ports the app takes as a
configurable env var).

Verified via bash -n on every changed file, plus functional runs seeding
occupied ports for each collision shape used here (single, paired,
multi-port stacks) and confirming the scan/shift and generated
compose/README output are correct — including the emby/jellyfin,
nextcloud/arm, and frigate/changedetection collision scenarios that
originally motivated this.

Claude d5d979ac31 Add multi-instance support to audiobookshelf, emby, mealie, traccar
Same pattern already established by services/mattermost.sh and
services/wordpress.sh: first instance keeps the plain name/paths/
ports exactly as before (zero behavior change for anyone with a
single instance already installed), and only choosing to add a second
introduces suffixed naming with its own directory, containers, and
ports.

- audiobookshelf.sh, emby.sh, mealie.sh: straightforward -- suffixed
  dir/container name, auto-scanned free host port(s) via `ss`, Caddy
subdomain default suffixed to avoid collision. emby.sh's existing
music-only mode is untouched, just correctly parameterized.
- traccar.sh: the harder one -- has its own dedicated Postgres
container, an autoheal container, and a 150-port device-protocol
range that can't be scanned port-by-port. Additional instances shift
the whole range by 1000 (6000-6150, 7000-7150, ...) based on how
many traccar/traccar-* directories already exist, which never lands
on Asterisk's fixed ports the way the first instance's range does,
so no exclusions are needed there. Also scoped the autoheal label
  per-instance (autoheal-traccar-<suffix>) -- autoheal watches by
Docker label host-wide, not scoped to a compose project, so two
instances sharing the generic "autoheal" label would each try to
  manage the other's container too.

Found and fixed two real bugs via testing before committing, not just
code review:
- The device-protocol range offset counted existing instances via
  `find $DOCKER_DIR -maxdepth 1 -name 'traccar*'`, which also matches
$DOCKER_DIR itself if its own basename happens to start with
"traccar" (true in my test harness, structurally possible in real
use too) -- fixed with -mindepth 1.
- Verified port auto-scanning actually detects a simulated in-use
port and increments past it, using a stateful fake `ss` rather than
trusting the logic by inspection alone.

Verified end-to-end for all four: first instance unchanged from prior
behavior, second instance gets fully distinct dir/containers/ports,
and (traccar specifically) correct DB container, correctly-scoped
autoheal label, and correct shifted port range in the generated
compose file.

Claude 1fc0a6edfe Apply the local/remote Caddy mode resolution to every service, not just traccar
traccar.sh's caddy_net wiring was fixed to mirror configure_caddy_for_service's
own mode resolution (CADDY_MODE from site config, then a local ~/docker/caddy,
then the legacy CADDY_REMOTE_HOST var) instead of only checking for the local
directory. That same bare directory check was copy-pasted into the caddy_net
wiring of every other Docker service in the repo, so a site with Caddy on a
different box would silently fail to join any of their containers to caddy_net
during setup (or, for homeassistant/koha, only get half the wiring right).

Applied the same fix mechanically across all 37 services using the standard
_CADDY_NET_BLOCK/_CADDY_NET_SECTION pattern (verified identical text via
scripted diff before touching any of them), plus by hand for:
- homeassistant.sh and koha.sh, which use their own differently-shaped
variables (HA_CADDY_NET_LINES / _CADDY_NET_ENTRY) for the same decision
- paintplus.sh and ai-stack.sh, which do a live `docker network connect`
instead of a compose network block
- watchyourlan.sh, whose Caddy note was worded for local-only setups

sms-inbound.sh got more than a mode swap: its Caddy wiring was hand-rolled
(not routed through configure_caddy_for_service) and had no remote-Caddy
path at all — a remote Caddy box would get a misleading "Caddy isn't
installed here" message instead of a snippet. Added
_sms_write_caddy_snippet(), mirroring the snippet-file pattern
configure_caddy_for_service uses everywhere else, and pointed the firewall
gate at the same three-way mode instead of a two-way dir check.

Verified: bash -n across all of services/*.sh, a scripted check that every
touched file has exactly one _CADDY_MODE resolution and no leftover bare
`[ -d "$DOCKER_DIR/caddy" ]` feeding a caddy_net decision, and spot-checked
docker compose config renders (traccar, mattermost) confirming the ${VAR}
interpolation and multi-service usage sites still resolve correctly.

Claude fa906186c3 fix(services): conditional caddy_net across all Docker service scripts
Only include the caddy_net network block in generated docker-compose.yml
files when ~/docker/caddy exists. Prevents "network caddy_net declared
as external, but could not be found" on standalone installs without Caddy.

Affected: actualbudget, archivebox, arm, audiobookshelf, calibre-web,
changedetection, drum-rhythm-game, emby, fmd, frigate, frigate-audio,
frigate-notify, gatus, homeassistant, immich, iopaint, jellyfin, joplin,
koha, lyrion, magicmirror, mail-archiver, mattermost, mealie, meshcentral,
n8n, nextcloud, ntfy, onlyoffice, portainer, stirling-pdf, syncthing,
traccar, unifi, uptimekuma, vaultwarden, wg-easy

Skipped: authelia (creates caddy_net itself), caddy, crowdsec, wolf,
wolf-pair, and services using network_mode: host with no caddy_net.

Claude ec3f9bfd3f Add remote Caddy support — generate snippet files when Caddy is on another host
New site config key: CADDY_REMOTE_HOST (set via 'sudo ./setup.sh configure').
When set, configure_caddy_for_service operates in "remote" mode instead of
writing to a local Caddyfile:
- Upstream uses CADDY_REMOTE_HOST:PORT (host IP, not container name)
- Snippet saved to ~/docker/caddy-snippets/<subdomain>.caddy
- User is shown scp/rsync commands to copy it to the Caddy machine

Three modes in configure_caddy_for_service (lib/common.sh and inline stubs):
local: ~/docker/caddy/ exists → write Caddyfile + reload (existing behavior)
remote: CADDY_REMOTE_HOST set → save snippet, print copy instructions
none: neither configured → silent return (unchanged)

All 31 service standalone bootstrap stubs updated with the new logic.
CADDY_REMOTE_HOST global added to all 42 standalone bootstrap sections.
setup.sh configure now prompts for CADDY_REMOTE_HOST with a clear explanation.
wolf.sh: add missing stubs (configure_caddy_for_service, write_readme,
  prompt_yn, ensure_docker_dir_ownership) and the Authelia/Caddy/start calls
that were missing from the install function.

Claude e95e82be2f Fix functional bugs found in service audit
wg-easy: PASSWORD env var removed in v14+; generate bcrypt hash at install
time via 'docker run wg-easy wgpw' and write PASSWORD_HASH instead.

ntfy: write config/server.yml with base-url, cache-file, auth-file, and
behind-proxy:true so push notification links work when behind Caddy.
  auth-default-access: deny-all (require topic auth).

mealie: BASE_URL was hardcoded to http://localhost:9925; email links and
OAuth redirects broke when served via Caddy. Now computed from SITE_DOMAIN
and written to .env so it's easy to update.

nextcloud: add OVERWRITEPROTOCOL=https, OVERWRITECLIURL, TRUSTED_PROXIES to
.env so share links and internal redirects use https:// behind Caddy.

onlyoffice: Caddy's default X-Frame-Options: SAMEORIGIN header blocked
OnlyOffice from being embedded as an iframe in Nextcloud. Override it in
the Caddy site block to allow framing.

vaultwarden: remove exposed port 3012 (WebSocket — not needed since v1.29+,
all handled on port 80). Publish port 8888 for direct host access instead.
Remove WEBSOCKET_ENABLED=true (ignored in current versions).

Claude 9c52ac22e1 Fix Caddy routing: use container:port via caddy_net (DoTheEvo pattern)
Undo the host.docker.internal approach from the previous commit — proper
Docker networking routes Caddy to services by container name on the shared
caddy_net, not via the host gateway.

- lib/common.sh: configure_caddy_for_service now accepts either a plain
port number (localhost:PORT fallback) or container:port (preferred).
The Caddyfile entry uses the container name for direct Docker DNS routing.
- services/caddy.sh: remove extra_hosts hack; update Caddyfile template
  comments to show container_name:port format
- All service files: update configure_caddy_for_service calls to pass
  container_name:internal_port (e.g. "filebrowser:80", "mealie:9000").
Services using network_mode:host keep plain port numbers.
- tools/manage_users.sh: new FileBrowser user-management script (deployed
to ~/docker/filebrowser/ during installation). Manages users via the
FileBrowser REST API: list, add, delete, passwd, scope, info commands.
  Documents username format (letters/numbers/hyphens/underscores),
password rules (min 8 chars, letter + number required), and scope path
convention relative to /srv (= FB_PATH on the host).

Claude 56bec03c9b Fix Caddy routing and add caddy_net to all Docker services
- lib/common.sh: fix broken reverse_proxy target — localhost inside Caddy's
container is the container's own loopback, not the host; change to
host.docker.internal so proxied ports are actually reachable
- services/caddy.sh: add extra_hosts host.docker.internal:host-gateway so
the above resolves correctly; create caddy_net bridge network in Caddy's
own compose so other services can reference it as external; update all
Caddyfile template comments and README examples to match
- services/filebrowser.sh: update image tag from deprecated :s6 to :latest;
remove non-functional PUID/PGID env vars (filebrowser/filebrowser does not
honour them); add configure_caddy_for_service call; add caddy_net
- services/ntfy.sh: add configure_caddy_for_service call; add caddy_net
- services/portainer.sh: add configure_caddy_for_service call; add caddy_net
- services/frigate-notify.sh, watchtower.sh: add caddy_net for
container-to-container comms (frigate, ntfy) without a Caddy call
- All remaining web-facing Docker services: add caddy_net network block to
docker-compose and CADDY_NET to .env where applicable; services using
network_mode: host (wolf-pair, lyrion) have the top-level block only

Claude 56d2f9e85b Add site-wide defaults: timezone, domain, Caddy network
Introduces a one-time configuration wizard (sudo ./setup.sh configure)
that stores SITE_TZ, SITE_DOMAIN, and SITE_CADDY_NET in ~/docker/.config.
Every service now uses these as prompt defaults so the user types common
values once instead of re-answering the same questions for each service.

- lib/common.sh: load_site_config / save_site_config; auto-loads on source;
backward-compat BASE_DOMAIN alias kept for old .config files
- setup.sh: run_site_configure wizard; first-run offer after base install;
`sudo ./setup.sh configure` command to update defaults at any time
- 14 services: TZ_VAL now honours SITE_TZ, falling back to /etc/timezone
- 3 inline-heredoc services (filebrowser, homeassistant, ntfy): same fix
- authelia: SITE_TZ/SITE_DOMAIN as prompt defaults; SITE_CADDY_NET replaces
hardcoded caddy_net throughout (env, compose patch, network creation)
- minecraft, frigate-audio: simplify BASE_DOMAIN read to use SITE_DOMAIN
- sky-cam: SITE_TZ as default for timezone prompt
